Oh, she's beautiful! :iconadoration-plz: Lovely photo. The bars are slightly visible only in the background - the lioness is perfectly shown.
Why are lions in my zoo so far away from the viewers? :(

In your zoo they probably have a nice bigger enclosure.
Honestly I think the lions' enclosure in Helsinki zoo is awfully small. =(
It might be harder to take photos with a bigger one but at least the lions would probably be happier.

Yes, it's quite big compared to the one leopard one (not to mention the snow leopard one which is more like a cage than a run) but I don't like that it's beyond the moat :( The little tigers which also have a moat were hidden down there almost all the time of my visit.
I like best the big ones with a shelter where they can hide, but with an easy access to some places when they like to spend time.
